Vienna – All those people who were prosecuted or convicted in the Second Republic for consensual homosexual acts can submit applications for compensation payments from today, Thursday. “By overturning the verdicts and providing financial compensation, we as a state are taking responsibility for our history,” said Green Party Justice Minister Alma Zadic. Applications can be submitted either directly to the respective regional court or by post.
