Al-Marsad newspaper: Tomorrow, Monday, the second phase of the localization of supplies and supermarkets in Saudi Arabia begins, as work in sales outlets is limited to 100% of Saudis in the professions of “section supervisor”.
It is noteworthy that the second phase limits work in outlets to 50% of the total number of workers in the professions of department manager, assistant branch manager, and branch manager.
The implementation of the second phase of localizing supplies and supermarkets came after a grace period of 360 days from the date of publishing the decision on Safar 25, 1442 AH, according to the procedural guide for the decision to localize supplies and supermarkets.
The decision to localize supplies and supermarkets includes all supplies whose area is not less than 300 square meters, and supermarkets whose area is not less than 500 square meters.
