The Secretary General of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) Angélique Ngoma, in his speech commemorating this March 12, 2024, the 56th anniversary of the party under the seal of introspection, admitted the share of responsibility of his political formation in the loss of power.

“In the emergence of this new configuration, the CEO has, it must be admitted, his share of responsibility; because as the party in power we have not listened enough to our fellow citizens,” confessed Ms Ngoma.

For the new administrative boss of Omar Bongo’s party, the time has come for all the PDG’s activists to get involved in the reconstruction of the PDG and to reconcile with the Gabonese people.

“This is an opportunity, in my capacity as Secretary General of our party, to ask forgiveness from our activists, from our fellow citizens,” she said with humility.

The CEO is celebrating his anniversary this year under the theme: “conference of self-criticism and refoundation of the Gabonese Democratic Party”. They will take place from March 12 to 16.

As during his long reign in power, the CEO recalled his troops at the party headquarters located in Louis in 1is district of Libreville. Most of the leading figures flocked to the scene with their luxury vehicles. The festive atmosphere was there.
