When this question was posed to the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, the answer was quite overwhelming.
Kapil, who has been a part of several India-Pakistan matches, opined that the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is the best. He opined that it was the same when they met in the 2021 T20 World Cup last year.
“You cannot be sure about anything in T20 cricket. Predictable to an extent in ODIs. It is very difficult to predict in T20. I would say our team is experienced and they are great. Because we were good last time too. So, it’s very difficult to say anything,” said Kapil on YouTube channel Uncut.

“Still going by stats and players, Indian team is very good. But it all depends on how the team plays on that particular day,” he added.
India have a better head-to-head record than Pakistan, winning eight and losing five of their 14 matches so far. A skirmish ended inconclusively.
Meanwhile, India captain Rohit, referring to his team’s 10-wicket haul at the hands of Pakistan in last year’s T20 World Cup, says his team is not worried about what happened in the past.
“The mood in the camp is exciting. It’s a new tournament, a new beginning. “We don’t have to think about what happened in the past, that’s how the team moves forward,” Rohit told reporters.
He knows that Pakistan is a strong T20 team.
“Playing against Pakistan will be a challenge without any doubt. What matters to us is what we think as a group. “It’s about what to get out of this tournament,” he said.
He added that the team also discusses their defeats as it is a way to correct mistakes.
“We talk about our losses. That’s how we improve as a team. That loss hurt us at the time, but it’s been a while since we played such a game,” Rohit said.
“We learn from our mistakes. Now, this is a new beginning for us,” he added.
