Aston Martin F1 and AMR22 transformed into “Green Red Bull” / Spanish Grand Prix[F1-Gate .com]

Aston Martin F1 introduces a major upgrade to AMR22 at the 2022 F1 Round 6 Spanish Grand Prix. The side pods that appeared on Thursday have been transformed into what can be called “Green Red Bull”.

The Aston Martin F1 has endured a difficult start with 6 points in the opening 5 races. Partly because of the popping problems that many teams suffered, they were forced to drive at higher ride heights than ideal.

The Aston Martin F1 was rumored to have “half-new” level improvements for the Spanish Grand Prix, where many teams are launching major updates, but that change was revealed on Thursday.

Rumor has it that it would be a copy of the Scuderia Ferrari side pod, but the actual Aston Martin AMR22 has become a Red Bull Racing-like makeover that can be called the “Green Red Bull.”

The double floor used by the Aston Martin F1 in its early days has been abolished, the side pods have a second engraving like Red Bull Racing, and the wide, relatively horizontal sides are narrowed towards the rear. It is falling sharply. The design of the louver is similar to Red Bull.

Initially, it was rumored that the Aston Martin AMR22 major upgrade would only be available to the owner’s son, Lance Stroll, but Auto Motor und Sport’s Tobi Gruner went to two cars at the Spanish Grand Prix. It is reported that a full kit will be introduced.

“Aston Martin will run the Higg Upgrade Package in Barcelona,” Tobi Gruner said.

“According to our information, the full kit will be installed on both sail cars. The last part will arrive on the truck tonight.”

This is not the first time Aston Martin F1 has copied the design of another team, and in 2020 it will be racing with a copy of Mercedes, “Pink Mercedes”.
