ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED 2-in-1 launched in India with Ryzen 5000 . CPUs

Back in the last week, Asus introduced a bunch of new gaming laptops in India under the ROG Strix, FLOW and TUF series. Now, the company is here to offer something more geared towards the premium segment. company Introduction A new luxury 2-in-1 product in the premium ZenBook range. The new laptop/tablet is called ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED. As the name suggests, this is a brand new laptop with a 2-in-1 design and a great OLED display. Even in 2022, it is not very easy to find OLED panels on laptops. So, the ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip stands up to the competition. Moreover, it comes with Ryzen 5000 series processors.

ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED Specifications and Features

To start things off, let’s talk about one of the most interesting aspects of this device. ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED features a gorgeous 14-inch HDR OLED display with 2.8K resolution. This is an extraordinary resolution that comes as a result of 2880 x 1800 pixels. The panel features 10-bit color reproduction, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 88 percent screen-to-body ratio, 550 nits of brightness, and 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut coverage. This is a Pantone validation screen. What’s more, we have a 90Hz refresh rate and TUV Rheinland Blue light certification.

It is a 2-in-1 product, thus, users can use it as a laptop, stand, tent, tablet, or anything in between. On top of that, you get touchscreen support with a 4096-degree stylus pen. Design-wise, Zenbook 14 Flip OLED comes with aluminum alloy and a 360-degree Ergolift hinge. The device weighs 1.4 kg and is 15.9 mm thick.

Under the hood, the ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip comes with an AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor and three premium configurations. There is a variant with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, Ryzen 7 5800H, and Ryzen 5 5600H. All three also feature integrated AMD Radeon graphics. Furthermore, the laptop offers 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD storage. To keep performance without throttling, an efficient cooling system is in place. The laptop comes with two heat pipes and two IceBlade cooling fan.

Under the hood, the laptop carries a 63Wh battery module with support for 100W Type-C fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the laptop comes with two USB Type-C Gen 2, USB Type-A Gen 2, HDMI 2.0 outputs, a micro SD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Other nifty features include a backlit keyboard with 1.4mm key travel, a virtual numeric keypad on the trackpad, and a Harmon Kardon audio system. On top of that, there’s a 720p webcam, a power button with built-in fingerprint, and Amazon Alexa support. It comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and Windows 11 directly.

ASUS is building a more robust presence in the notebook portfolio in India. Meanwhile, the company shrugged off the smartphone business with the launch of the ASUS 8Z too late.
