Most of the new car models have disappeared from the Egyptian market, due to a number of crises that hit the sector locally and globally, most notably the Russian-Ukrainian military operations, the electronic chip crisis, and the recent increase of the dollar against the pound.
In light of the crisis facing the market, buyers are currently resorting to paying an exaggerated over-price to get a new car without waiting for more than 6 months, or buying a Zero Breaker car at a price that is significantly higher than the official new car price.
While there are 8 new “Zero” models that can be received immediately, with prices starting from 254,000 pounds, in MPV, sedan, SUV, and models starting from 2019.
