Atelier ABT presented a very angry Lamborghini Urus – Autoreview

The German company ABT Sportsline, named after the founder Johann Abt and has been tuning Volkswagen cars for more than thirty years, has prepared one of its most evil cars. The Lamborghini Urus Performante crossover has undergone a comprehensive revision: the new version is called Scatenato, that is, “wild” in Italian. 99 of these cars will be made.

From the outside, the Urus Scatenato is distinguished by a massive and developed body kit: the splitter, air duct grilles on the hood, mirror housings, wheel arch extensions, spoiler and other elements are made of carbon fiber. At the rear there are four pipes of a new exhaust system made of titanium. The ABT studio also changed the wheels: they are equipped with mixed-wide tires measuring 285/35 ZR23 on the front axle and 325/30 ZR23 on the rear, although the same parameters are available for the factory Urus. The seats, front panel, transmission selector – all this is also decorated with carbon fiber. Several decorative elements with the inscription “1 of 99” recall the exclusivity of Scatenato.

Now about the most interesting part. The four-liter V8 engine’s turbochargers and intercooler have been replaced, and the software has also been adjusted. If the Urus engine produces 666 hp from the factory, then after the intervention of ABT the power increased to 810 hp. Unfortunately, other technical specifications have not been published. But we can assume that the acceleration time to “hundreds” was reduced (3.3 s for the factory version of the Performante).

The original Urus costs from about 230 thousand euros, and with such a tuning package its price can double: the kit itself is estimated at 179 thousand euros, plus an additional payment for installation and full legalization (in Germany). It is important that after such modifications the factory warranty for the car is maintained.
