Atlantic Ocean at sunrise and sunset in Africa taken from the International Space Station | sorae Portal site to space

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) publishes beautiful images of the Earth taken from the International Space Station (ISS) from time to time. This time, we will introduce two images selected by the sorae editorial department.

A morning in Tanzania taken from the ISS

This is a ground view taken on January 13, 2023 (Japan time) over Tanzania in Africa (altitude 417km). The time in Tanzania at the time of shooting was around 6:30, and the earth dyed golden by the morning sun and the shadows extending from the clouds were captured.

This is a view of the Atlantic Ocean taken on November 14, 2022 (Japan time) above Suriname in South America (altitude 415 km). The time of Suriname at the time of shooting was around 18:30, and the shadows of long clouds are falling due to the setting sun, and the clouds illuminated by the sunset are captured.
