The 19-year-old truant entered the school in the morning, along with the students, and began searching for the 18-year-old student. Once he spotted him, he hit him on the head with a hammer and then headed to the manager’s office, stabbing him in the stomach.
The 19-year-old is charged with attempted serial murder, domestic disturbance and violation of weapons and drug laws.

On Tuesday morning (26/3) the 19-year-old entered a school in Agios Panteleimonas, where he did not attend, approached the 18-year-old and attacked him with a hammer, injuring him in the head.
His act was noticed by the school principal who tried to protect the 18-year-old, but the 19-year-old attacked him with a knife, injuring him in the abdomen.
Called Immediate Action police immediately went to the school complex where they found the 19-year-old in the basement.
In their attempt to immobilize him, the 19-year-old tried to hit them with a knife without succeeding, and the police arrested him and took him to the Security Department of Agios Panteleimon.
During a search of the 19-year-old’s possession, the following were found and confiscated:
- -2- knives,
- hammer and
- -6.5- grams crystal methamphetamine.
The arrested person, with the completed case file, will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
