A man attacked police officers and members of the public with a sword in Hainault, north-east London, injuring five people.
According to London police, the suspect first crashed into a house in Thurlow Gardens, then got out and allegedly attacked several people with a sword.
The 36-year-old suspect is accused of assaulting five people, including two police officers, before being arrested.
The London Ambulance Service said they treated five people at the scene and took them to hospital.
Another witness, speaking on condition of anonymity, told a British news channel that he saw someone lying on the ground giving CPR, and a man ran out of the house with his hand ‘very badly injured’. Blood was flowing’.
“I spoke to a few guys who told me that a man was running away following stabbing people,” he said.
