Actor Steven Seagal visited the victims of the attack at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, who are currently in one of Moscow’s hospitals. He thanked doctors for their work and wished patients recovery, the Russian Ministry of Health said.

The statement provided by the Russian propaganda news agency RIA Novosti shows that the star’s visit to the hospital took place on Wednesday, and the actor met three injured people at that time.

– What happened is a terrible tragedy that should not have happened. I think Russia will serve as an example and make the world realize that you can’t do something like this to people and go unpunished. I would like to thank the doctors for their quick work, I am glad that the patients are feeling well and recovering. May God bless them, RIA Novosti quoted Segal as saying.

The agency also shared photos published on social media by the Russian Ministry of Health. They show Seagal meeting with patients. In several of them, the actor poses for photos with hospital staff.

The attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow took place on Friday evening, March 22. Armed attackers shot at people in the building and then set fire. At least 140 people were killed and 360 injured.

The Islamic State organization of the Khorasan province, the Afghan wing of the terrorist group, claimed responsibility for the attack. Russian services claim that they have detained four attackers, citizens of Tajikistan, and several of their alleged accomplices. The suspects were arrested and will remain there until May 22, awaiting trial.
