After the blocking of sites months ago, the jamming of the “most listened to” radio stations in the country, the restriction of access to the Internet and now the brutal withdrawal of media groups (DJOMA, ESPACE and EVASION ) of the Canal + bouquet, without forgetting the ban on all public demonstrations, this situation of violation of rights no longer needs to be demonstrated.
“Consequently, the Social Forces of Guinea (FFSG), to link words to action, invite all Guineans residing or established abroad to provide their respective support for all response actions planned by the press associations and the SPPG”, indicates the press release.
The Social Forces at the same time invite everyone to post on their various communication channels (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) for the day of Monday, December 11, 2023, declared without press, a message of distress, such as : “224, Press and freedom of opinion in danger”.
