Near the Ukrainian-Romanian border in the Chernivtsi region, the body of a Ukrainian soldier was found. This happened on the evening of Friday, January 21st.
According to the agency UNIAN, an ambulance and law enforcement officers were called to the place of discovery. As it turned out, the deceased was in the border unit in military service.
According to the publication “Public”, there was a gunshot wound on the body of the border guard.
In addition, on the night of January 23, another Ukrainian border guard received a gunshot wound to the chest. He survived and asked for help himself. As a result, the serviceman was hospitalized in the Putilsky district hospital.
Law enforcement officers of Ukraine are already investigating the circumstances of two armed attacks, as reported by the speaker of the regional border detachment Serhiy Brovko.
