Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband and singer Nick Jonas announced yesterday that they have become parents to a baby through a surrogacy process. They have given birth to a baby through surrogacy. Very happy. The couple also announced on social media that privacy should be allowed as they need to focus more on the family at this time.
Within hours, the news spread widely. It was later revealed that the couple had a baby girl.
Priyanka was married to Nick Jonas in 2018. After marriage, the couple continued to focus on their careers. In the meantime, they always tried to share time together. This can be understood by looking at both the social media pages.
The truth is that most people did not know that Priyanka and Nick were preparing for a baby anyway. Friends and colleagues greeted the couple when they learned of the baby’s birth.
Meanwhile, there has been criticism of the tendency to become parents through surrogacy. It is very common among Bollywood celebrities. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. Leading author Taslima Nasreen has even criticized Priyanka for having a surrogate pregnancy.
Priyanka’s cousin Meera Chopra’s words are now supporting Priyanka amidst controversy. Meera says that Priyanka has always been interested in children and always wanted them to have children all over the house.

However, neither Priyanka nor Nico have yet commented on the controversy. There is a lot of discussion going on on social media about this. Many Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sunny Leone and Preity Zinta have acquired a baby through surrogacy. Priyanka is the latest to make the list.
