A teenager died in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident in the municipality of Val-des-Monts on Thursday evening.
Around 7:30 p.m., the MRC des Collines police department received a call concerning an ATV accident in the municipality of Val-des-Monts.
According to the police, two underage girls were on the ATV during the collision. According to the first hypotheses, the driver may have lost control of the vehicle before hitting a tree.
On the spot, the death of one of the young girls was noted. As for the other teenager, she would have suffered major injuries, but her life was not at stake.
The police are still at the scene to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident.
