— On November 3, a powerful coronal mass ejection occurred (this is the outer part of the Sun’s atmosphere, consisting of plasma), and today the main part of the solar plasma reached the magnetosphere of our planet. The ejection turned out to be so powerful that the aurora can be observed almost throughout the entire territory of Russia, explains Yulia Mikhalevich, a member of the AstroSamara club.
