Australia defeated India by 79 runs in the final of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup.

Chasing Australia’s 254 runs, India were bowled out for 174 runs in the final of the Under-19 World Cup being played in Benoni.

From India, Idrash Singh scored 47, Murugan Abhishek 42, Mushir Khan 22 and Narnaman Tiwari 14. Two Indian batsmen were out for zero while five could not even get into double figures.

For Australia, Mahalia Birdman and Raf McMillan took 3, 3, Calum Wadler 2, Charlie Anderson and Tom Straker took one wicket each.
