Born in 1992 in Junagadh, Gujarat, Munoor Farooqui said his house was destroyed in the 2002 Gujarat riots.
After which he came with his family to Dongri area of Mumbai. After his mother’s death, he sold pottery and worked as a graphic artist as a child.
Manoor’s friend Balraj Singh Ghai is the founder of ‘The Heritage’, an organization that organizes comedy shows. According to Balraj Singh Ghai, once a stand-up comedy scene was supposed to be shot on the set of an advertisement, but the producers did not have anyone present. Seeing Manoor there, he was offered and he did excellent stand-up comedy, after which he not only entered the world of comedy, but also gained great fame.

Manoor Farooqui said that ‘I never gave up hope but there was a moment when I got lost but still I never gave up hope of winning the show’.
