Australia to open border for tourists | Australia To Reopen Borders To Tourists On Feb 21 After Almost 2 Years

Australia to reopen border for international tourists after a gap of two years. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that vaccinated tourists will soon be allowed to enter the country. Morrison said he would consider accepting you if you took two doses of the vaccine.

Australia is expected to allow international tourists to enter the country from the 21st of this month. Australia has been one of the countries that has imposed the most severe restrictions since Kovid’s inception. After the Kovid restrictions were imposed, entry into Australia was restricted to its own nationals, residents, skilled migrants, seasonal workers, and international students.

Australia closed its borders in March 2020. Initially, only Australian citizens were allowed to enter after the restrictions. Permission has been granted to skilled immigrants and some international students since last December.

Kovid confirmed that there are 2.7 million people in Australia under strict restrictions. 4,248 Kovid deaths were also reported. Eighty percent of those eligible for vaccination have already been vaccinated.

Summary: Australia will reopen its borders to tourists from February 21, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced
