Confirmed. The match between Ñublense and Colo Colo will be played without a visiting public on April 6, at 3:00 p.m., at the Nelson Oyarzún Arenas stadium in Chillán.
This was confirmed by the residential delegate of Ñuble, Anwar Farrán, and the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente, prioritizing the safety of those attending the sporting event, the neighbors who live in the surrounding area of the venue and the infrastructure of the emblematic stadium.
The authorities explained that the measure considered the behavior of the Colo Colo bar, which has been involved in recent acts of violence such as the Super Cup final against Huachipato at the National Stadium, and in Mendoza, against Godoy Cruz, for the Copa Libertadores.

The permitted capacity will be 8,500 people. Those attending Nelson Oyarzún must previously register in the National Fan Registry and belong to the club’s database.
The presidential delegate, Anwar Farrán, explained that “the south gallery will be for Ñublense fans, however, a security cushion will be created to protect order so that everything develops normally. The decision made is based on what has been done in other cities where Colo Colo has played. “We want Chillán’s family to be able to attend a sporting event in complete normality.”
For his part, the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente, regretted the measure, because it restricts access to visiting fans, but he stressed that it is a consequence of the behavior of a few that harms many. “We would like to serve them with brotherhood, but unfortunately, we have seen that every time the hard-core fans move through our country there are inconveniences and incivilities, crime and violence. We are not going to endorse that. That is why, together with the delegate, we have decided not to authorize the entry of the visiting public.”
Benavente and Farrán stressed that the decision considered the resolutions adopted in other matches of the national championship in which the home owners, such as Unión Española, O’Higgins and Coquimbo Unidos, decided to play without an open audience in their stands.
The Presidential Delegation will request the database of Colo Colo fans who are blocked from purchasing tickets. Additionally, through a statement, Ñublense reported that no items referring to the visiting team will be allowed and only one ticket associated with the rut can be purchased.
