After a four-year break with a one-off corona interruption, the Automechanika Birmingham of Messe Frankfurt took place again in England. A new record was set with over 14,400 visitors. The number of participants from 6750 workshops and body shops was higher than ever before.
A total of 511 suppliers from 23 countries – including important international leading brands – showed their technologies, products and services. The audience was diverse and consisted of high-ranking decision-makers from various areas, including wholesale and retail, car workshops and vehicle manufacturers, but also end consumers.
This year’s event offered twice as much training and practical demonstrations with 192 hours. For example, the “Talent and Skills Conference” addressed the aspect of further training. And more than 100 people attended the Women Automotive Network reception, which discussed how companies can strengthen their diversity.
The next Automechanika Birmingham will take place from 3rd to 5th June 2025. (awm)
