Avianca noted in a statement that although during this year it will open new routes where it sees a new opportunity to operate, temporarily suspend others due to the restrictions that exist for the entry of tourists in some places, which reduce the operation of the airlines.
In this sense, the company indicated that rwill take some routes during the first semesters of the year and others in the second semester; It all depends, said the airline, on the evolution of the COVID-19.
Avianca suspends routes from Colombia abroad
The routes that are temporarily suspended from Bogotá are:

- To San Juan
- A Ft Lauderdale
- A Washington
- To the Angels
- To Orlando
- To La Paz
- A Viru Viru
- To Asuncion
- A Barcelona
- To London
From Cali and Medellín, Avianca suspends the routes to Madrid Spain.
What’s more, Avianca will not operate routes that from Guatemala go to Bogotá, Tegucigalpa and Los Angeles; from San Salvador to Dallas, Houston, Miami, Toronto and Mexico City; and from Quito to Galapagos and El Coca.
