Vienna (OTS) – On June 1, 1990, the Vienna Chamber of Labor opened the Anton-Benya-Park in the fourth district of Vienna and made it accessible to the public. In the past few months, AK Wien has arranged for the renovation, and the park will be usable again by the end of June. “Even in the light of climate change, we made sure to preserve the high ecological value of the facility and paid great attention to biodiversity, sustainability and resilience,” says AK President Renate Anderl. “We have reduced the sealed area by almost 400 m2 and switched to permeable surfaces on play and sports areas. I am pleased that we can make their popular green oasis available to the residents of the 4th district in good time before the summer holidays.”

On Thursday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m., AK President Renate Anderl and the District Manager for the fourth district, Lea Halbwidl, invite you to a film and photo appointment to present the redesign of the park.
