Graz (OTS) – The vocational Matura (apprenticeship with Matura) and the range of courses at Austrian universities of applied sciences play a significant role in adequately meeting the increased need for well-trained specialists in Austria and continuing to provide a solid basis for professional development and social well-being in the future to ensure progress. In this context, Federal Minister Martin Polaschek, together with State Councilor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and the logistics company Knapp, will present the 2024 skilled workers offensive, which will in particular contain details on the promotion of the vocational baccalaureate and the specific expansion of universities of applied sciences in the 2024/2025 academic year.
