The AvtoVAZ company, after a series of checks, applied sanctions to the Moscow dealers Avtogermes, Torgmash and Tekhinkom. The reason for this was the unreasonable overpricing of Lada Vesta cars, the company said.
An inspection of dealers was organized back in June against the backdrop of media reports about unreasonable price increases for Lada Vesta NG. “From their (dealers – approx. URA.RU) side, these were isolated cases, commercial measures were applied to them,” said an AvtoVAZ representative in an interview with RIA Novosti.
At the same time, it is not specified what kind of commercial sanctions are in question. However, the company noted that penalties may include not only fines. AvtoVAZ also reported that constant checks of dealers, including secret ones, continue.
Earlier it became known that in October AvtoVAZ plans to raise prices for its entire lineup, reports VSE42.Ru. Later, the head of the company, Maxim Sokolov, said that the marginal prices for Lada cars from dealers would be tightly controlled. According to him, violators will be punished with sanctions up to termination of contracts, writes RT.
