Awaiting script for Mohanlal, heavy film: Shaji Kailas

Hitmaker Shaji Kailas has entered the world of Malayalam cinema after a gap. Prithviraj’s Tiger is his latest film.

Tiger is a Pakka Shaji Kailas film that comes in the mass masala action genre. Prithvi as the hero and Vivek Oberoi as the villain, the film was received with open arms by the fans.

Tiger is another one of the big mass films of Prithviraj’s career.

Now, the director of the film Shaji Kailas says that he is waiting to do a film with Mohanlal.

Shaji Kailas said this in an interview given to Filmi Hoods. Shaji Kailas said this in response to the anchor’s question whether he could expect a film with Mohanlal as the hero.

He said that he wants to do a film with Mohanlal and is waiting for the script.

Waiting for that script. I have made a request to him (Jinu Abraham). I prefer heavy film, or I can’t work.

Otherwise I will be cold like this, if all these soft pictures come. If we want to do energy work, we should get a picture like this,’ says Shaji Kailas.

He added that he is interested in doing a film in the comedy genre, but is currently not trying.

Meanwhile, the show continues to the tiger-filled audience he has prepared. Apart from Malayalam, the film has also been dubbed into Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Tiger hit the theaters on Thursday after a long wait. Prithviraj as Katuvakunnel Kuryachan and Vivek Oberoi as IG Joseph Chandy gave a good performance. Shaji Kailas has beautifully depicted the revenge, blows and backlash between Kuriachan and Joseph Chandy.

Samyukta Menon, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Harishree Ashokan, Rahul Madhav, Kochupreman, Seema and Priyanka played other characters.

Tiger is produced by Prithviraj Productions and Listyn Stephen’s Magic Frames. Katuva is written by Jinu Abraham, director of Adam John and screenwriter of London Bridge and Masters.
