‘Ayyappan Nair’ shot dead in ‘Koshy’ car; Massai Bhimla Nayak Trailer
The trailer of the Telugu remake of Ayyappan and Koshy ‘Bhimla Nayak’, which was much celebrated by the Malayalees, is out. The video released by Sithara Entertainment’s YouTube channel has already been viewed by millions of people.
Although the trailer is reminiscent of Ayyappan and Koshy in Malayalam, it has all the elements that a Telugu audience needs.
Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, will play Bhimla Nayak and Prithviraj’s Koshy Kurian Daniel Sekhar in Telugu. Powerster Pawan Kalyan will play the Bhimla dog and Rana Daggubatti will play Daniel Shekhar.
Earlier, the character videos of the two and the title song reminiscent of Nanjiamma’s ‘Kalakatha’ had garnered a lot of attention.
Telugu cinema is not made to give equal importance to both as in Malayalam. Ayyappan as the hero-hero and Bhimla as the hero-villain combo instead of the concept of Kosi.
The role of Kannamma, who got her hands on the screen as Ayyappan Nair’s wife, is played by the Malayalees’ own Nithya Menon.
Malayalee actress Samyuktha Menon will play the role of Rana’s wife. Bhimla Nayak is also making her Samyukta Tollywood debut.
Sagar K. Directed by Chandra, the film has dialogues by Trivikram Sreenivas. Taman S. Is composing music. The film is being produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
