Bac 2022: Humanities, literature and philosophy specialty subjects

This Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 May, students in Terminale pass their specialty tests, finished the S, ES and L sectors, these tests scheduled for March finally take place and count for 32% of the mark. 523,199 candidates will take the tests for specialty courses in France during these 2 days. 40,066 candidates chose this specialty.

Here are the subjects offered to students who have chosen the Humanities, Literature and Philosophy specialty.

First part: philosophical interpretation – To what extent can we become ourselves once more?

Second part: literary essay – Does reading allow access to better self-knowledge?

SUBJECT 1

First part: philosophical interpretation – According to the author, what explains the permanence of violence in history?
