Oriane Jaillardon will participate in the artistic swimming event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. One month later, the athlete will also take her baccalaureate. Reporting.
“It’s the start of the school year, it’s a very important year because I’m passing my baccalaureate and, incidentally, I have the Olympic Games too”, confides Oriane Jaillardon, who does artistic swimming at a high level. The athlete juggles classes and pool training. “On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I will train all day, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. then from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. In the evening, I will be able to study in my room”she explains.
“I dream about it every night”
“The other days, I will have half a day off, dedicated to my studies”details Oriane Jaillardon. “These eight months are going to be extraordinary, I dream of the Olympic Games every night. But I know that artistic swimming is not a professional sport so I must above all continue my studies. It is for my future that I do this”declares the athlete, who will therefore live his dream next year in Paris.
