Bahrain attends World Labor Summit in Geneva

Bahrain attends World Labor Summit at UN Headquarters in Geneva LMRA Chief Executive Jamal Abdul Aziz Al Alawi represented Bahrain at the summit.

The summit was convened to discuss the immediate steps to be taken by the International Labor Organization and its member states to address the crises facing the government, employers and workers. The LMRA CEO pointed out that member states need to formulate plans to overcome the challenges of maintaining employment.

He added that special attention should be paid to the coming agendas on decent working conditions, safe and healthy working conditions and listing of rights of workers and employers.
