Balochistan government’s decision to start buying wheat from Monday – Business & Economy

It has been decided to start buying wheat from Monday in Balochistan and the Balochistan government will buy 5 lakh tonnes of wheat from farmers this year.

A high-level meeting of the Food Department was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti, in which the Wheat Procurement Policy and Plan 2024 was reviewed.

Balochistan Chief Minister said that two and a half billion rupees will be released on Monday for the purchase of wheat, and the remaining two and a half billion rupees will also be released this month.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti clarified that he wants to give relief to the farmers, he will bring transparency by eliminating corruptions from the food department.
