At the beginning of June, the Forces vives de Guinée decided to suspend street demonstrations for a period of one month in order to promote the smooth running of national exams and allow Guinean pilgrims to make the pilgrimage in the best conditions. .
During this assembly, the vice-president of the UFDG Bano Sow announces that these demonstrations will resume just after the return of the Guinean pilgrims. “You remember that the Forces vives de Guinée decided to suspend the demonstrations until the end of the national examinations and the pilgrimage. We have made a commitment to take them back and we will, nothing will prevent us from exercising the right to have peaceful demonstrations. If they try to take out the armored vehicles or the whole camp to prevent us as they are used to, each grassroots committee will organize a sit-in in its neighborhood and so we will have the whole city of Conakry where we will be present and that will always be a form of manifestation. So this is to tell you that we will respect our commitment as soon as the exams and the pilgrimage are over, we will resume the demonstrations, ”said Bano Sow.
Recently, the national leadership of the UFDG announced the return of Cellou Dalein Diallo to Guinea. This vice-president of the party specifies that the preparations are progressing rapidly. Bano Sow, warns that the return of Dalein will be the subject of a mobilization of militants.
“We are once again preparing for the arrival of President Cellou Dalein Diallo and this will be the subject of a demonstration. Cellou Dalein has confirmed that he is coming. Believe me, this time with the militants of the UFDG, we will decide on the date and nothing will prevent him from returning to Conakry. At the party level we have decided to respect our commitment because we will receive Cellou Dalein in an unforgettable way”, reassured Bano Sow.
