Barcelona refuses to surrender in the Bernardo Silva deal

Barcelona refuses to give up in its quest to settle the Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, Manchester City midfielder, during the current season.

Several reports claimed that Barcelona tried to seal the deal in the summer, but failed. And according to the British newspaper, “Mirror”, Barcelona is planning a new attempt, in the winter Mercato, to include Silva from Manchester City.

She pointed out that this matter came following La Liga raised the salary ceiling for Barcelona this year to 560 million euros.

Barcelona managed to reduce its financial crisis last summer, following it raised 800 million euros during the sale of various digital assets to the club.

She explained that Silva’s father’s recent statements may be Barcelona’s biggest concern, but they believe the player is still interested in joining Barca.

She stated that Barcelona would repeat attempts to include Bernardo in the summer, if he did not succeed in including him during the winter Mercato.
