The National News Agency reported that an electrical friction on the third floor of Batroun Hospital led to the emission of smoke, and civil defense personnel surrounded and controlled it.
No injuries were recorded, knowing that the third floor is reserved for the surgical department, and it is closed and out of service now.
Civil defense personnel took precautionary steps to transfer patients from the second floor to the lower floor, in order to avoid causing any harm to their health.
