A goat farmer in the canton of Uri caught a man having sex with a goat. The alleged perpetrator was able to flee following a scuffle with the farmer, and the police have now identified him.

Since April 2022, several sexual assaults on goats have been reported to the cantonal police at two companies in Schattdorf, Uri, prosecutors said on Tuesday. The animals did not suffer any serious injuries.
Investigations have now led the police to a 39-year-old Portuguese national who lives in the canton of Uri. When asked whether the farmer had caught the alleged perpetrator in the barn or in a pasture, the police did not provide any information.
