Bayern agree with Tottenham: Kane transfer before completion

According to media reports, Germany’s soccer champions Bayern Munich have agreed to transfer star striker Harry Kane with top English club Tottenham. The decision to change is now up to the 30-year-old Englishman, the portal “The Athletic” first reported, citing sources in Germany. Accordingly, the Londoners would have accepted an offer from Munich of allegedly more than 100 million euros.

With a commitment, Bayern would close the largest construction site of their squad. Kane would be the most expensive entry in the Munich club’s history and would rise to become the top earner in the foreseeable future. He had recently been pushing for a decision before the start of the Premier League this weekend. Kane has a contract with Spurs that runs until the summer of 2024.

The attacker had scored consistently in the Premier League for years. In the last season alone, he scored 30 goals in 38 league games. With 213 goals, he is only behind Alan Shearer (260) in the all-time list of the top Premier League goalscorers. The record scorer also scores reliably in the national team. Bayern start the season in the German Supercup against Leipzig on Saturday.
