Bayern fans chant Lewandowski and ask him to stay

Bayern Munich fans cheered the Polish international striker Robert Lewandowski and demanded him to stay in the Bavarian club, on the sidelines of the celebration of the team’s tenth consecutive title in the German Football League, through the balcony of Munich City Hall yesterday.
Bayern and Lewandowski confirmed yesterday, on the sidelines of the last round of the Bundesliga, that the Polish striker would not renew his contract until following 2023.
But while Bayern confirmed that the player is not for sale this summer, Lewandowski stressed that this matter should be taken into account if he received an appropriate offer, amid allegations regarding Barcelona’s interest in including the player.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer reiterated his assertion not to waste Lewandowski, but did not completely rule out the possibility of his departure this summer “if the two sides agree on such a step.”
But Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn told PR television that Lewandowski, who won the award for best player in the world, would not leave this summer, “he will complete his contract.”
