Tears in the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”! Hit star Beatrice Egli (34) was there on Saturday evening. The Schwyzerin surprisingly showed her emotional side.
Egli’s new single is called “New Beginning” and that is currently her life motto: After ten years, the ex-“DSDS” winner changed her team – something that required a lot of courage.
In conversation with show host Giovanni Zarrella (44), she kept taking deep breaths, her voice trembling: “I’m sorry, it’s such a big burden for me right now. Thank you Giovanni for letting me do this TV premiere with you. You know I’ve changed a lot.”
Egli explained: «After ten years I started a completely new start with a new team. It’s very emotional, because of course a new beginning also includes a conclusion. A degree with people who have also brought me to where I am following ten years.»
And further: «Thanks to these people I would not be who I am today. I want to say thank you for accompanying me. Now the new beginning is here and new people accompany me.»
After the show, Beatrice went live on Instagram and answered fan questions. She made it clear: “I had tears of joy. I wasn’t sad, but happy and relieved. The tension is already great at such a TV premiere and live on television. There aren’t many live broadcasts left.”
