On Wednesday and Thursday, the German rock group Rammstein, which is currently under discussion, will stop at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium as part of their current tour. Most recently, several women had raised allegations against frontman Till Lindemann for sexual assault. On Monday, the ORF published a description of a woman from Austria via “ZiB 1”, who also made accusations against the singer.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims that she was written to before a Rammstein concert if she wanted to get to know the band. “I just wanted to meet my idols, which I’ve adored for years,” the person concerned told ORF. As a result, Lindemann called her personally and invited other women to his hotel room.

She was skeptical, but allowed herself to be persuaded by the other women. When she clearly denied wanting to have sex there, Lindemann pressed her face down on the bed and hit her so hard on the buttocks that his handprint could be seen – which she also had photographed. Then he let her go.

The ORF had the recordings forensically examined, with the company commissioned confirming that the original recordings were “very likely unchanged”. A medical examiner from Heidelberg, on the other hand, states in her report: “The photos presented show injuries after blunt force trauma in the sense of at least one very strong blow with the flat hand on the right side of the buttocks.” The ORF quotes from the report that she sees evidence of a “foreign action”.

It’s not about an ad, but about being able to tell her story, according to the woman who made her statements to the ORF on oath: “I’m one of the women who were sexually abused by Till Lindemann in that he physically touched me, even though I didn’t want it.” Compared to the ORF, Lindemann and his lawyers reject the allegations as false.

The campaign organization #aufstehn announced a rally before the Rammstein concert on Wednesday. Together they want under the motto “No stage for perpetrators!” send a strong signal, it was said. A corresponding petition from the platform was signed by more than 16,500 people.
