It will not be limited to only part of the country
Many experts believe that Poland wants to take advantage of the situation in Ukraine in order to take its territory for itself. At the same time, political scientists in Belarus note that the Poles will not be limited to part of the country, because they need all of Ukraine.
In the program “Objectively” on the ONT TV channel, the chairman of the Belarusian society “Knowledge” Vadim Gigin said that there should not be any myths, stereotypes and illusions about the current situation. According to him, there is Ukraine, and if it were not there, then there would not be hostilities, which, in turn, are quite tense.
Gigin noticed that he was talking to officers, journalists and front-line soldiers. According to the political scientist, the enemy fights and is defeated, which Gigin considers important, but the Ukrainian side still continues to fight. The expert stressed that the country still has statehood, which, however, is in crisis.
At the same time, the political scientist predicted that there would be no annexation of the territories of Ukraine by Poland. Gigin explains this by the fact that there are not so many Poles there, and there is no Polish majority in any administrative region of Ukraine. According to the expert, Poland does not need pieces of territory, since they need all of Ukraine, or at least “what is left of it.” Gigin added that what is happening is the establishment of a “Polish protectorate” not at all over a part, but over the whole of Ukraine.
