An intra-Belgian agreement on the climate has not happened for a long time. And yet: the three Regions and the federal government reached agreement this Wednesday morning on some elements of Belgian climate policy. However, it was necessary to resort to the consultation committee between the Prime and the minister-presidents to achieve this. The adopted proposal comes from Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open VLD), who was able to rally the Flemish parties (CD&V and Open VLD) also members of the coalition in power in Flanders.
