Since Friday evening, videos of Theo Francken in a state of intoxication have been circulating on social networks. We see him in particular urinating on the side of the road on Boulevard Emile Jacqmain, in the middle of passers-by. A video also shows him on the terrace of a cafe, standing awkwardly on his chair.

The videos are not dated, and the author of the images is currently unknown, but the principal concerned confirmed to Laatste Nieuws, this Saturday, that it was indeed him on the videos, but that they date from last year. .
Theo Francken said he had “an overly drunken evening, after a heavy and stressful period”. He admits to having had “a stupid behavior”, judging the images “embarrassing”. “I don’t want to condone this, but in the end, I’m only a human being,” he concluded with our Flemish colleagues.
