7 out of 10 Belgians turn to white goods or private labels to lighten the bill in supermarkets.
To say that prices are rising and that we will have to tighten our belts is one thing. But guessing the concrete effects on the lives of Belgians is another. If we have spoken in recent days of rationing in almost all the chains of supermarkets in the country to avoid empty shelves, the Belgians do not only stock up. They also take on new habits. A study conducted by iVox and Aldi shows that 70% of consumers are now turning more to white goods and other private labels.
