Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni also announced that Pope Benedict’s health condition is bad and is under constant observation by doctors.
Benedict XVI stepped down in 2013 due to health reasons. He is the first pope to resign in 600 years. He is 95 years old and is in retirement in a monastery in the Vatican.
