Beneo Orafti Chile presented the modern electric buses that will transport its operations personnel from now on, in a contract for the next eight years with the Hualpén company.

In this way, the German company became a pioneer in using vehicles of such capacity for the private transportation of employees from Ñuble and Biobío.

This milestone was achieved with a presentation of the buses that will come into operation this week, an activity carried out at the inulin plant in the commune of Pemuco, and in which representatives from Beneo Orafti, Hualpén and the Government participated.

“We have been on a crusade for several years to improve energy efficiency, and today a wish that we had for quite some time has materialized. We are moving towards a means of transportation without CO2 emissions, which goes hand in hand with improving the mobilization conditions of our personnel,” said Guillermo Fernández, general manager of Beneo Orafti Chile.

José Miguel Mandiola, manager of the southern and southern zones of Hualpén, said that “these are buses that offer a very rewarding experience to their users, in which the comfort of their seats is combined with the silence of the engine and the smoothness of the ride.” .

The King Long brand buses, manufactured in China, stand out for their high performance and cutting-edge technology, and have a range of 250 kilometers.
