Following the efforts of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, the federal government reported that the process of applying the booster vaccine against coronavirus to teachers and active educational personnel of public and private schools in Yucatán will take place from January 12 to 15, therefore That starting tomorrow, January 9 and until January 11, the registration process will be carried out on the platform set up by the government of the state of Yucatán through the State Secretariat of Education.
According to what has been announced by the Federation, the application of the vaccines will be carried out, tentatively, from January 12 to 15 in four venues, which are the following: in Mérida, it will be the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention and Exhibition Center; in Valladolid, the campus of the Universidad Modelo in said municipality; in Tizimín, the National Technological Institute; and in Ticul, the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Secondary School.
As reported by Liborio Vidal Aguilar, head of Segey, the state government, through the Ministry of Education of Yucatán (SEGEY), will activate the site vaccinaeducacion.yucatan.gob.mx, where as of Sunday, January 9, the and teachers and active educational personnel will be able to register according to their date of birth: January 9th who were born between January and April; on the 10th, those born between May and August, and on January 11, those born between September and December.
It is reiterated the importance of the registration being carried out on the date that corresponds to each person, according to their date of birth, in order to avoid saturation of the platform provided for this and everyone can comply with this step of the process.
In this sense, teachers and active educational personnel are invited to be aware of the official social networks of Governor Vila Dosal, from where the information about the process of applying the booster vaccine for this sector of the population will be released. .
