Benoît Poelvoorde is back with the film “Inexorable”. During the promotion of this feature film, the 57-year-old actor told an anecdote concerning another filming for Netflix: “How I became a superhero”. In this French fiction, released in 2020, Benoît Poelvoorde shared the poster with Leïla Bekhti and Pio Marmaï.
The Belgian actor explained that he suffered from a small health problem during the production: pain in the testicles. “Yeah, well, well, I’m not in great shape in the movie! You don’t see me running much. Besides, I refused! I even caught orchitis (note: inflammation of the testicles). I shot with a ball like a pineapple,” he revealed. In the film, he plays a former vigilante who will help two police officers to catch thugs.
The production refused to let him talk about it
A revelation that the man has long kept secret, because the production did not want him to talk about it at the time. “I could never say it in promo. They didn’t want to, because it was Netflix distributing, but now I can say it… I broke a lot of stuff on set. I will regret it in 15 or 20 years, like Gérard Depardieu. It is broken everywhere,” he concluded.
