Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Player Karim Benzema sent a message to the fans of the Saudi club Ittihad Jeddah, following announcing that he had joined the ranks of the “Tigers” team, with a contract that extends until 2026.
The club, which won the “Roushen” league title, published, through its official account on the Twitter platform, on Tuesday, a video clip that carried the most prominent clips of the French striker and the contract signing ceremony.
During the video, Benzema said in Arabic: “I am excited to see you in Jeddah,” in conjunction with press reports that ittihad Jeddah Club will hold a reception for its new player upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Karim Benzema (35 years) is considered one of the most prominent players around the world, and one of the legends of the Spanish club Real Madrid, as he spent 14 years with the latter, during which he achieved 25 titles and appeared in 648 matches, during which the player scored 354 goals and assisted 165 others.
