The competition that will result in the hiring of a company specialized in managing the food and nutrition service (breakfast, lunch and dinner) of the two new community restaurants in the Federal District, Samambaia, Portelinha and Varjão, was published by the Department of Social Development of the Federal District (Headquarters), this Wednesday (14), through the Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF). The new deadline for receiving proposals is February 28th. The notice is available on the Sedes portal. The bidding had recently been suspended by the Federal District Court of Auditors (TCDF), which suggested changes. “All determined measures were fully complied with and the TCDF issued a favorable opinion on the continuation of the event”, explains the Secretary of Social Development, Ana Paula Marra.
The TCDF pointed out, for example, the need to include in the basic project the memory for calculating the appropriation of the quantities of all inputs and services in the reference budget spreadsheet, a resource considered essential for monitoring the contract.
“We know the importance of these units for socially vulnerable families who live in these regions. Therefore, the technical team quickly made the necessary adjustments to make this tender viable”, emphasizes the manager. “It is important to highlight that, since last year, Sedes has been studying, together with TCDF, a new methodology to be applied in restaurant bidding notices, with the aim of increasing transparency, facilitating inspection and ensuring compliance with contracts” , he states.
The hiring of companies that will provide services in community restaurants will make the two new units viable. Just like the two new community restaurants opening in 2023, the Samambaia Portelinha and Varjão units will already be opened offering three meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner –, and opening on Sundays and holidays.
